Five Days of Retail Innovation: von Hagen Design Inspires at EuroShop 2026
 

Düsseldorf, February 26, 2026 – Five days of pure retail, 1,840 exhibitors and more than 81,000 visitors: EuroShop once again demonstrated why Düsseldorf becomes the international meeting point for the retail industry every three years. Retailers, brand leaders and executives from around the world gathered to discover innovations, initiate investments and deepen strategic partnerships.

von Hagen Design used this international stage for a trade fair presence that combined architecture, art and technology into a holistic experience – setting new standards.

 

A Space that Rethinks Gravity – On around 70 square meters we created an open design space that presented our brand and capabilities with clarity and impact. An oversized, inverted mountain floated beneath the hall ceiling on fine ropes in our corporate colors. Two smaller stones carried interactive monitors and invited visitors to explore. A five-meter-high transparent LED wall defined the left side of the stand and created spatial depth, while the 7 × 4.5 meter LED back wall captivated visitors with impressive panoramas by the Nepalese photographer Kishor Kayastha. Our oneled® solutions presented content with precision and made technology tangible.

 

Architecture in Dialogue – Open discussion areas invited exchange. The clearly structured product area created orientation, while a semi-open meeting room enabled focused conversations. The transparent LED wall offered privacy while preserving the openness of the space. Tibetan music enhanced the atmosphere and transformed the stand into a holistic experience.

 

The Result: For many visitors, it was the most impressive stand at the entire trade fair. Numerous guests recorded spontaneous video statements and shared their impressions on social media. The large-format images allowed some visitors to immerse themselves almost meditatively in the vast landscapes of Nepal – a striking contrast to the fast-paced LED animations staged at many other stands.

 

When Art Shapes Space – The concept originated from the encounter between Axel von Hagen and Kishor Kayastha in Nepal. Kishor’s Mustang panoramas, together with works by his wife Meena Kayastha, formed the creative foundation of the design in collaboration with Chris Wendel. The floating stone translated landscape into architecture. Nature met technology. Tradition met innovation. The world turned upside down.

Our oneled® solutions presented the artwork with the highest precision and demonstrated their strength in the retail environment: simple operation, reduced costs and maximum impact. Numerous competitors also showed strong interest and recognized the potential for collaborative solutions.

 

Staging on Every Level – A long-term social media campaign connected selected motifs by Kishor with well-founded information about the trade fair, von Hagen Design and oneled. Invitations and printed materials consistently reflected the guiding concept and ensured strong brand recognition.

An international “von Hagen Morning Brew” on the penultimate day of the fair brought together business partners and interested guests over coffee and croissants, creating space for intensive networking. Many visitors used the opportunity to arrange concrete meetings directly at the exhibition.

 

Sustainability that Continues to Inspire – The central stone will move into our new showroom THE GRAVITY, where it will become the centerpiece of an inspiring space for employees as well as a stage for events and experience days. Materials will be reused. International guests were invited to extend their stay and visit our headquarters. In this way, relationships are created that continue beyond the trade fair.

 

Exceptionally Strong Response and Growing Momentum – We recorded a significantly higher quantity of conversations and, above all, an outstanding quality of discussions, both with major international brands and with innovative retail concepts. The number of concrete project inquiries once again increased significantly compared with 2023.

We were nominated as a finalist for the EuroShop Award by Exhibitor Magazine, a special recognition for both concept and execution. Numerous collaborations emerged directly on site. Partners actively recommended visitors to us, and we in turn connected interested guests with co-exhibitors. This networking strengthened everyone involved and highlighted our partnership-driven approach.

The development of our recent trade fair appearances shows a clearly rising trajectory. oneled® resonates strongly with the industry and offers real added value for retail companies.
