With all your senses
Amazed, admiring looks, followed by close examination of the replica steel beams provided a consistently pleasant start to valuable conversations with visitors.
How do you draw the attention of visitors at a high-profile trade fair, known for its innovations from the entire industry? How can we present ourselves as exhibition stand builders as innovatively as possible? We meet these challenges and ask ourselves these questions for each EuroShop in Düsseldorf anew.
von Hagen GmbH has been an internationally reliable partner for exhibition stand building and shopfitting for nearly 30 years. We have an innovative team of architects and interior designers that carries out projects from the initial idea through to construction and implementation. With our modern production facilities and graphic works, an extensive selection of furniture and fittings, and our committed installation team, we offer our customers the best possible support with their projects.
This year, von Hagen Design impressed visitors with a simple, dark stand concept with clean lines in an area of just under 43 m2. The combination of high-quality slate tiles, wooden elements, and cutting-edge lighting and LED technology created an atmospheric unity.
The realistic replica steel beams, suspended from fine wire cables to create a free-floating effect, were the main attraction at the stand and instantly gained the instinctive curiosity of visitors. This unusual composition was inspired by the installation “White Anger, Red Danger, Yellow Peril, Black Death” by Bruce Nauman from 1984. It offered an inviting and open conversation starter, and at the same time symbolized balance and a connection between the different aspects of the company, in the interaction between design, architecture and production. The high-quality finish of the beams bears witness to the company’s craftsmanship and technical expertise.
Two alcoves provided acoustic seclusion for holding conversations while allowing participants to remain part of the event. Intelligently manufactured furniture allowed optimum utilization of the space for promotional items and catering. An additional half-open seating area, equipped with monitors, was provided for longer meetings.
The scene was framed by a perfectly coordinated LED lighting concept, strikingly reproducing the company’s corporate image with all three signature colors and shapes. This lighting created high brand recognition, standing out from the 5 m high slate wall and illuminating the stand. In addition to brochures, the new magazine and high-quality monitors, the presentation media also included tablets for presenting individual company information and references.
von Hagen Design’s trade fair presentation was successful across the board. Feedback regarding the stand design and the talks was exceptionally positive. Numerous existing business relationships were consolidated and new partners and customers found, and our own employees were inspired by valuable encounters and impressions. The concept was a complete success.
